FUELCare FAQ
Is Fuelcare really worth it compared to paying per service?
Fuelcare isn’t about paying less per visit it’s about consistency, priority access, and having your bike professionally managed throughout the year.
Many members value fewer issues, reduced downtime, and not having to think about maintenance at all.
What if my bike doesn’t need servicing every time?
Fuelcare is designed around proactive oversight not maximising visits.
If your bike needs less attention at certain points in the season, that’s a positive outcome, not a loss of value.
What is a Fuelcare booking?
Each booking is tailored to your riding, mileage, and upcoming goals.
Rather than working to a fixed checklist or time allowance, servicing is guided by its condition, wear, and what your bike actually needs at that moment.
What does “up to” a set number of service visits per year mean?
Fuelcare includes up to a set number of professional service visits within a 12-month programme. Visits are used as required, based on riding volume and bike condition.
Unused service visits expire at the end of the 12-month term, with a 30-day grace period to schedule and complete any remaining visits, subject to availability. Unused visits do not roll over beyond this grace period.
What if I ride more than expected during the year?
If your riding volume increases, additional services can be booked at a Fuelcare member rate, discounted from standard pay-per-service pricing.
Fuelcare is designed to support progression, not limit riding.
What if I’m unsure which Fuelcare option is right for me?
For most regular riders, Core offers the best balance of service frequency, priority access, and proactive care.
If you’re unsure, we’re happy to recommend an option based on how and when you ride.
Can I still book pay-per-service if I don’t join Fuelcare?
Absolutely. Fuelcare is optional.
Standard pay-per-service remains available for riders who prefer to book as needed.
Does Fuelcare lock me in long-term?
Fuelcare runs on a 12-month programme so care can be planned properly across the season.
Is Fuelcare only for serious cyclists?
Fuelcare is designed for riders who value reliability, consistency, and planned care.
If you ride occasionally or prefer a purely reactive approach to servicing, pay-per-service may be a better fit.
Why is Fuelcare charged annually?
Annual pricing allows bike care to be planned and booked across the entire season rather than handled reactively.
This enables better scheduling, consistent oversight, and priority access during busy periods.

Fuelcare is planned as a year-long maintenance programme so care can be structured properly across the season.
If you experience a serious injury or medical issue that prevents riding for an extended period, we’re happy to discuss suitable options such as pausing your programme or extending the term where appropriate.
All adjustments are considered on a case-by-case basis and can’t be guaranteed. Our aim is always to be fair while continuing to deliver a high level of service to all Fuelcare members.
